Carissa is a Licensed Master Social Worker (LMSW) providing mental health therapy services in Iowa. She earned her Master of Social Work degree from Clarke University and is currently working toward her Independent Social Worker (LISW) licensure under clinical supervision.

Carissa is passionate about working with adolescents, adults, couples, families, and older adults. She enjoys helping clients navigate anxiety, depression, stress, relationship concerns, family conflict, identity development, and life transitions.

Her therapeutic approach is empathic, person-centered, and strengths-based. Carissa believes each individual is the expert of their own story and strives to create a safe, supportive environment where clients feel heard, understood, and empowered as they work toward meaningful growth and change.
