Therapy isn't about "fixing" you, it's about helping you reclaim your journey.
Amy is a Temporarily Licensed Mental Health Counselor and Certified Trauma Professional who helps adults move beyond mere symptom management and into true alignment. She works with individuals navigating life’s peaks and valleys, particularly those feeling stuck, overwhelmed by stress, or disconnected from themselves.
Believing that both the mind and body hold the map to healing, Amy integrates traditional therapy with Brainspotting—a targeted brain-body approach that accesses emotional distress where talk therapy can’t reach. Her practice is deeply informed by her background as a 300-Hour Certified Yoga Teacher and Certified Sound Healer, allowing her to weave somatics, mindfulness, and holistic tools into sessions when appropriate and best suited for the client.
Amy’s dedication to this work is deeply personal; her own path through mental health and chronic illness challenges gives her a firsthand understanding of the weight of feeling stuck and the freedom of integrated healing. She earned her Master’s in Professional Counseling from Concordia Wisconsin, her Master’s in Education from Viterbo University, and her Bachelor’s in Music Education from Iowa State. When she isn't holding space for clients, Amy is usually crafting, baking, or spending time in nature.
